Ein Harglwydd gymerodd ei ymdaith,
Ei ymdaith yn mhell o dref:
Gadawodd y winllan i ninau
I weithio nes dychwel Ef.
Genym ni bob un
mae ei waith ei hun,
Gwneuthur a allom dros Dduw a dyn,
Genym ni bob un mae ei waith ei hun,
Gwneuthur a allom dros Dduw a dyn.
Gwas'naethwn ein Harglwydd yn ffyddlon,
Yn ffyddlon o ddydd i ddydd;
A gweithiwn bob un
'nol ei allu,
A'i chydig a'i llawer fydd.
Ymroddwn a gweithiwn
yn ddyfal,
A gonest bob un ei ran;
Mae Duw wedi addaw ei gymorth,
Ei gymorth i nerthu y gwan.
Mae'r Arglwydd yn dychwel i gyfri,
I gyfri a ni ryw ddydd,
Fy enaid
pa fodd ymdarewi
Yn ngwyneb
y cyfri fydd?

Tôn: Gwaith i bob un / There's a Work for Each of Us |
Our Lord undertook his journey,
His journey far from home:
He left the vineyard to us
To work until His return.
Each one of us
has his own work,
To do what we can for God and man,
Each one of us has his own work,
To do what we can for God and man.
Let us serve our Lord faithfully,
Faithfully from day to day;
And let us work every one
according to his ability,
Whether a little or lot it be.
Let us commit ourselves
and work devotedly,
And honestly every one his part;
God has promised his help,
His help to strengthen the weak.
The Lord is returning to account,
To account with us some day,
My soul how wilt thou
fend for thyself
In the face
of the account that shall be?

Our master has taken His journey
To a country that's far away,
And has left us the care of the vineyard,
To work for Him day by day.
There's a work for me
and a work for you,
Something for each of us now to do,
Yes, a work for me and a work for you,
Something for each of us now to do.
In this "little while," doth it matter,
As we work, and we watch, and we wait;
If were filling the place
He assigns us,
Be its service small or great.
There's only one thing
should concern us,
To find just the task that is ours;
And then, having found it, to do it
With all of our God-giv'n powers.
Our master is coming most surely,
To reckon with every one;
Shall we then count
our toil or our sorrow,
If His sentence be,
"Well done"?
